There are 8 classes per session. The cost for each session is $160.00. Payment is due by the first class of a session. This payment is non-refundable.
Payment Plans:
In some cases, you may be able to work out a payment plan. When you are on a payment plan, you are still making a commitment for a full 8 week session and all payments are due even if you drop out prematurely. Payments are non-refundable.
Missed Classes:
24-hour notice is required for any missed classes. Failure to notify Sheila at least 24 hours in advance will result in forfeiture of $20 for that class.
Make-up Classes:
Within each 8 week session, up to 2 classes may be made up at no additional charge within that same 8 week session or by special arrangement. If it is not possible to make up a missed class within the same 8 week session, you may carry over no more than 1 make-up class into the next 8 week session, however you will be expected to pay in full for the next 8 week session at its normal start. Whenever you are going to miss a class, contact Sheila to make arrangements for your make up class.
Moving Between Classes:
If you think you might like to continue with the next level of improv classes, it is important that you let Sheila know by the sixth week of the current session.
Free “Open House” Classes:
Students are welcome to attend the monthly “open house” classes. There are usually one or two of these per month that are announced about a month in advance. These classes aim to give everyone the fun and authentic experience of participating in improvisation, so please bring your friends! They are also advertised publicly. If your normal class night falls on a selected “open house” class date, it will still count as one of your normal 8-week classes. However, you have the opportunity to attend another class within that same week for free. This gives you an opportunity to “mix it up” with other students, and you are encouraged to attend both that week!
Referral Discounts:
Current students who refer someone whom then registers for a session will also receive a discounted tuition of $150.00 for their next 8-week session!
Electronic Payments:
You can make electronic payments through Paypal, although there is a convenience fee ($5 for full payments, $3 for partial). Sheila will expect full payment for sessions unless you have otherwise made arrangements with her. If you don’t want to pay through Paypal, she accepts cash, checks (made payable to Sheila Goldsmith), and any credit card through Square card reader.
